Coins of Russian Empire
All coins that we use are guaranteed for weight and purity.
The obverses of all coins minted between 1895 and 1915 are identical. It contains the portrait of the Emperor of Russia Nicholas II and an inscription in Cyrillic: "Б. (-ожьей) М. (-илостью) НИКОЛАЙ II ИМПЕРАТОРЪ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЬ ВСЕРОСС.
(-ийский)". The reverse of the coin shows the Minor State Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire as a double-headed eagle holding the scepter and the orb in its paws. Displayed on the eagle's chest is the Moscow emblem framed with the chain of Andrei Pervozvanny's order, the crowns above the eagle are decorated respectively with ribbons. On the eagle's wings, represented are eight Coast of Arms, one for each kingdom included in Russia: the Kazan Kingdom, the Kingdom of Poland, the Kingdom of Tauric Chersoneus, the Kingdom of Georgia, the Siberian Kingdom, the Principalities of Kiev, Novgorod, and Vladimir
(combined) and a separate one for the Great Principality of Finland. Below the emblem, the face value of the coin and its year of issue are minted. On the edge of the coin one can see a drawing resembling that of a 'Greek key' (5 roubles) or containing the inscription in Cyrillic about the content of pure gold (7.5,10,15 roubles) or silver (50 kopecks, 1 rouble) and the initials of the mintmaster of the Petersburg Emperor's Mint, under whose supervision the specific coin issue had been minted. For instance, АГ - Apollon Grasgof, ФЗ - Felix Zaleman, АР - Alexander Redko, ЭБ - Elikum Babayants.

GOLD RUSSIAN 5 ROUBLES
SIZES AVAILABLE: diameter is 18.55 mm, with a thickness of 1.15mm. Total weight 4.3013gm in uncirculated condition (Unc) and contain 0.1244 troy once of pure gold.
METALL USED: 21.6 Karat (900.0) gold.
HISTORY: minted from 1897 to 1911. The most rare coins are dated 1906 (only 10 coins issued - catalogue price US $10,000) and 1907 (109 coins issued - catalogue price US $7,500). Quite interesting are the coins dated 1900, of which only 31,000 were minted, and also those dated 1910 and 1911 (minted in 200,000 pieces and 100,000 pieces).
GOLD RUSSIAN 7 ROUBLES AND 50 KOPECKS
SIZES AVAILABLE: diameter is 21.50 mm, with a thickness of 1.30 mm. Total weight 6.4516 gm (Unc) and contain 0.1867 troy once of pure gold.
METALL USED: 21.6 Karat (900.0) gold
HISTORY: rare coin, minted only in 1897 as a limited edition of 16, 829,000 pieces. The edge of the coin contains the inscription in Cyrillic about the content of pure gold: 'Чистаго золота 1 золотникъ 34.68 долей'.
GOLD RUSSIAN 10 ROUBLES ('chervonetz')
SIZES AVAILABLE: SIZES AVAILABLE: diameter is 22.63 mm, with a thickness of 1.55mm. Total weight 8.6026gm (Unc) and contain 0.2489 troy once of pure gold.
METALL USED: 21.6 Karat (900.0) gold
HISTORY: minted from 1898 to 1911. High numismatic value is attributed to the coins minted in 1906 (10 pieces), of much interests are also those minted in 1909, 1910, 1911 (minted in 50,000 pieces, 100,000 pieces, and 50,000 pieces, respectively). The edge of the coin contains the inscription in Cyrillic about the content of pure gold: 'Чистаго золота 1 золотникъ 78.24 доли'.
GOLD RUSSIAN 15 ROUBLES
SIZES AVAILABLE: diameter is 24.52 mm, with a thickness of 1.9mm. Total weight 12.9039gm (Unc) and contain 0.3734 troy once of pure gold.
METALL USED: 21.6 Karat (900.0) gold
HISTORY: the most rare coin in its class, minted only in 1897 in a small (according to the scale of the country) edition of 11, 900, 000 pieces. The edge of the coin contains the inscription in Cyrillic about the content of pure gold: 'Чистаго золота 1 золотникъ 69.36 долей'.

SILVER RUSSIAN 50 KOPECKS
SIZES AVAILABLE: diameter is 27.00 mm, with a thickness of 1.9mm. Total weight 10gm (Unc) and contain 9 gm of pure silver.
METALL USED: 900.0 silver
HISTORY: minted from 1895 to 1914 in Petersburg and Paris. On the edge, there is an inscription in Cyrillic about the content of pure silver: 'Чистаго серебра 2 золотника 10.5 долей' as well as the mintmaster's initials. Coins issued on Russian Government order in France, have one star on the edge in place of the mintmaster's initials.

SILVER RUSSIAN ROUBLE
SIZES AVAILABLE: diameter is 33.80 mm, with a thickness of 2.6mm. Total weight 20gm (Unc) and contain 18 gm of pure silver.
METALL USED: 900.0 silver
HISTORY: minted from 1895 to 1915 in Petersburg, Paris, and Brussels. On the edge, there is an inscription in Cyrillic about the content of pure silver: 'Чистаго серебра 4 золотника 21 доля' well as the mintmaster's initials. Coins issued on Russian Governments order in France, have one star on the edge in place of the mintmaster's initials, those issued in Belgium have two stars.
