Slavic Cross-Orthodox Passion Cross

This Slavic* cross pendant has pointed tips, and thus may be classified as a True Passion cross. There is nothing excessive about it: the cross carries the corpus of Jesus and the engravings praising the Lord. The circle behind the cross represents the crown of thorns that the Roman legionnaires placed on the head of Jesus and means Eternal Life. On the reverse side of the cross there is an inscription in Russian 'Спаси и Сохрани ('Save and Protect' in English) typical for Eastern Christian crosses. This body cross is well suited both for Eastern Orthodox christians and for the adherents of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic church.
