Weighty Russian style Orthodox cross in sterling silver, which makes a statement. This impressive crucifix is surrounded by traditional inscriptions praising God and Christianity: The acronym IHЦI (INRI) represents Church Slavonic inscription 'Іисус Назарянинъ, Царь Іудейскій' (Latin: 'Iēsus Nazarēnus, Rēx Iūdaeōrum', English: 'Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews') placed atop the cross as ordered by Pontius Pilate, IC XC (means 'Іисусъ Христосъ', English: 'Jesus Christ'), NИКА (означает победу Христом смерти и ада - signifies Christ's triumph over death and purgatory). The reverse bears an inscription 'Спаси и Сохрани' (Russian for 'Save and Protect') typical for Russian and Ukrainian pectoral crosses.
