Eastern-style Cross Pendant 925 Silver with Rhodium Plating

This Eastern-style silver cross is made in the best traditions of the Orthodox Church in the old Russian city of Kostroma. The Crucifix in the center of the composition is accompanied with traditional inscriptions praising the Lord and Christianity. An acronym ЦРЬ СЛBЫ stands for 'Царь Славы' (Russian for 'The King of Glory'), IC XC stands for 'Іисусъ Христосъ' (Russian for 'Jesus Christ'), and NИКА is derived from the Greek verb nikē - conquest to signify Christ's triumph over death. The reverse of the cross features 'Спаси и Сохрани' (Russian for 'Protect and Save' [me, oh my God]) traditional for Russian Orthodox crosses.
