Orthodox Cross Pendant with Trefoil Ornament Certified 585 (14kt) Rose Gold

This cross in Russian 585 (14-karat) rose gold is a fine example of Orthodox jewelry art. The crucifix has the base with a beautifully textured guilloche pattern and multiple clover-shaped motifs symbolizing the Holy Trinity. It carries four inscriptions in Church Slavonic: ЦС ('Царь Славы' / 'The King of Glory'), IНЦI ('Іисусъ Назарянинъ, Царь Іудейскій' / 'Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews'), IC XC ('Іисусъ Христосъ' / 'Jesus Christ'), NIKA (means 'Jesus Christ Conquers'), and the skull at the base of the cross that symbolizes the ashes of Adam. The reverse of the crucifix is adorned with beautiful ornament and carries the inscription in Russian 'Спаси и Сохрани' / 'Save and Protect' to help deflect away envy, hate, and jealousy.
