Icon pendant Mother of God 'Seven Arrows' depicts the Our Heavenly Lady on the front and carries Russian inscription 'Икона Божьей Матери Семистрельная. Пресвятая Богородица, Спаси нас' meaning 'The icon of the Mother of God 'Seven Arrows'. The Most-holy Theotokos, save us' on the reverse. 585 rose gold, advanced 3D jewelry technique with a laser cutwork. Dimensions:34mm (1 3/8 inch) in height by 18mm (3/4 inch) in width. Made in Kostroma, Russia.

This icon was originally painted over six centuries ago in the Russian city of Vologda. The seven arrows piercing the Holy Virgin Mary symbolize her agonizing pain at the foot of the Calvary. The festal day of the Icon is August 13/26.
