A master jeweler placed the body of Jesus made of white gold on that Orthodox Crucifix Cross. The circle behind the cross represents the crown of thorns that the Roman legionnaires placed on Jesus's head and symbolizes eternal life. On the reverse side of the cross there is an inscription in Russian 'Спаси и Сохрани' (Save and Protect) typical for Russian Orthodox crosses.
