Our fabulous selection of Orthodox crosses just got better. The composition of this silver cross for men is quite sophisticated with Holy Virgin Mary to the left of Jesus, and St. John the Evangelist to the right. The Madonna motif at the foot of the cross is reminiscent of the legend that Jesus on the cross had entrusted to St. John the Evangelist the care of his mother. The reverse of the cross carries the words in Church Slavic language from the anthem praising the Holy Cross. ("Спаси и сохрани Господи люди Твоя"- вариация на тему тропаря (краткого молитвенного песнопения) Кресту Господню).
